Community Nurse

Rocktoberfest benefits Community Nurse Health Association. Since 1921, Community Nurse has provided comprehensive, quality health care and supportive services to lower income and uninsured residents of the western suburbs of Chicago. Our emphasis is on assisting individuals who have difficulty accessing health care due to barriers such as limited financial means, language and cultural differences, and lack of health insurance. We are staffed by RNs, NPs and volunteers MDs. Our vision is healthy and productive community where all residents have access to quality healthcare.

To be eligible for our services, patients must meet residency and income requirements. Family incomes cannot exceed 200% of the federal poverty level. Our service area encompasses the 14 western suburbs of: Brookfield, Burr Ridge, Countryside, Hinsdale, Hodgkins, Indian Head Park, LaGrange, LaGrange Highlands, LaGrange Park, Lyons, McCook, Westchester, Willow

Springs and Western Springs.
